Footwear
G’s relationship with footwear has been one of peaks and valleys.
With a size 14 shoe by age 13, he was often sidelined from participating in the sneakerhead explosion.
However, with a shoe size comparable to that of professional athletes, he was given a rare opportunity to test prototype basketball sneakers for Reebok at the age of twelve, and won not one, but two league championships wearing them.
G also handmade a pair of sneakers from sketch to foot in three days with the help of the good folks of the Brooklyn Shoe Space, and designed a full urban runner program documenting the one week process.
